Here comes the bride

Just returned from my Niece's wedding and what a wonderful wedding it was. Sunny California didn't disappoint although we could have done without the wind. Despite the whirling and twirling and dust, the bride couldn't have been more beautiful.
My Niece and her handsome hubby

In fact, the smile never left her face. She was radiant and beaming with delight. There were flower girls and a ring bearer compliments of her sister.
They performed perfectly. Actually it was never a question with the girls, they loved being dressed up and pretty, but it was rather sketchy on whether the ring bearer would pull it off. You see, he would have preferred his stick over the pillow.
Because sticks make little boys happy.
The Maid of Honor was none other than her lovely sister.
And wedding just wouldn't be a wedding without family.
Just a few of the cousins
Grandparents, my ma and pa
Her family, that's my sista on her left.
There was plenty of food, dancing and cake.
Have you noticed she's still smiling? She did the traditional bouquet toss after the groom flung the garter, which my son caught....
Should I be worried?
The following day we all enjoyed some much needed pool time
Especially the wedding planner/mother of the bride.
Even the kids joined in the fun.

No worries, those youngins are little fishes.

Beautiful family. The bride looked radiant and beautiful. I am glad you got away for a little trip. I loved that picture of the little boy with the stick; so true!

Weddings are so fun! Lovely pictures. And I'm going to remember what you said about boys and sticks. Maybe I'll just get my son one for his birthday. And a cardboard box. A stick and a cardboard box, what more could a kid want??

Beautiful. I always am a sap for weddings.
Where was a picture of YOU ???
It was windy in Reno and Utah when I was there too these last 3 weeks. Lots of fires there too.
