Another year comes around once again and yet, it still amazes me how fast it happens. Since the husband and I celebrated our 100th between us last year and had quite the party, I figured 51 can slide under the rug unnoticed.
Although, I should know better when it comes to the husband.
The day started out pretty normal with the exception of waking to the birthday song sung by the husband but other than that nothing was out of the ordinary, he headed off to work and I had my day planned. Exercise in the morning, lunch with the girls and a horse ride in the afternoon. Better yet,
the husband found time in his schedule to go with me. As we were coming back from our ride he asked where I would like to go for my birthday dinner. Truly I have no preference but told him I would think about it.
He went back to work, and I went home.
The house was way too quiet as I entered because the dogs always make a commotion when somebody comes home - then I heard the sound of little pitter patter feets coming from around the corner.
Low and behold, my little Grand babies were there to greet me. My Grand babies, who live 10 hours from us - were there.... in my house.
Holy Cuteness!!! I was trying to hide my tears so I wouldn't scare them but what a surprise!!!
Unbelievable!!
Apparently they had been planning this for months and I was the only one not in on it.
Best surprise EVER!!!

I can't even express what their visit meant to me - how grateful I am to have such a loving family,
not to mention the cutest Grandbabies EVER!!! Ok, so I mentioned it.
