The Tooth Fairy

My neighbors came over to play while their mom was out and about. I love when they spend time at our house, it gives me a chance to play with the toys in the toy closet. The first order of business for the 5 year old was to change into the fairy costume, grab the wand and wave magic spells on everything.

Her brother dives into the car pile and finds his favorite yellow loader.  We eat pretend food, construct puzzles, play games and make up songs. There is so much magic in the air our time is gone before we know it.

We made our way upstairs for a quick snack and some enlightening conversation before their mom returned.

Saimi, I'm a lucky girl.

How's that?

Because I lost a tooth and the tooth fairy gave me a dollar.

A dollar! Wow you are a lucky girl.

Yeah, and now I have another loose tooth.

If a dollar is the going rate, you're doing really good.

Well, the tooth fairy only gives a dollar for the first tooth and then you get real money after that

You know... the circle kind

Yep, I know

Those are lucky kids to have you for a neighbor. It sounds fun to play at your house! I never thought of the tooth fairy using real money after the first tooth. Ha! Ha!
