We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends this year. It was a well devised plan our sons came up with.
Our boys have been best buddies since high school and now ten years later, share an apartment together.
During Thanksgiving they would eat at both houses. First ours then the other's.
The only way I can explain how they can put down two full meals is, they're boys.
This year they suggested we have Thanksgiving dinner together, combine families.
So we did.
I brought homemade rolls, apple cobbler, raspberry salad and sweet yams.
They had two turkeys, one smoked the other baked with so many side dishes and yummy pies.
Everyone had a job doing something, working like a well oiled machine.
It was such a great time. We ate, played pool, watched football, ate some more and enjoyed visiting together.
We may be friends but it sure felt like we were among family.

All the happy smiles tells a great story of a Happy Thanksgiving dinner for the whole family. Your table looks very festive and I'm sure the food was excellent. It's so nice when everyone pitch in to make it a very special occasion.
Blessings & Happy Thanksgiving through the whole year.

Hi~
That sounds like a good day to me! Most of my friends are family to me...you can't have too many brother's and sister's...;0) Isn't it amazing how much food a boy can put away!? Sounds like the perfect day to me!
Hugs and Love,
Barb
That is so cool. Friendships like that are the best kind in the world.
It looks like no one went hungry.
