This winter has been kinda drabby to say the least. I don't really dwell on the grey wet weather as long as it clears up for spring. I guess I'm a seasonal girl, so if the winter is going to be wet and mucky, wet and mucky it shall be, at least until spring and summer rolls around, then it better shape up. What got me thinking about vacation spots is, friends and family that are doing just that. They packed up and left the rest of us behind in soggy land USA. I decided to post a few fun places just to remind me sun and sand do still exist.

This is George sailing high in the St. Thomas skies. He and I went on a cruise for his senior trip a couple of years back. What a great time, but I won't mention the jet ski accident I had in Aruba. It's like they saved the best port for last and I spent it in the ships infirmary. I still owe it to myself to go back.
Then there is my sister and I who usually take a girls trip once a year, which also included my sister in law and her friend. We had all the fun four girls could possibly imagine. Puerto Vallarata was simply amazing.

I mean seriously, look at this pool! I could go on and tell you all the fun things we did, but the old saying goes, "What goes on in Puerto Vallarta, stays in Puerto Vallarta." Sorry, the secret will forever be in Mexico.

Ah, then there is Cancun, just look at the water and sand. Makes me want to pack my bags and get on the fastest jet plane so I can feel the sand in my toes once again. The water was to die for, I've never felt such warm water come out of an ocean. This was a trip taken with my sister, brother and his wife. While my brother and my sister in law were inside listening to the presentation, so we can get a discount on our excursions, my sister and I were taking advantage of the sun and sand....I guess you could call it brotherly love.

Merry Christmas to all that stayed in Yakima in 2006, as for the our family, we celebrated Christmas in Hawaii. My sister and her husband joined us on a Hawaiian cruise. We had two of our boys with us, the oldest was serving a mission. My sister, husband, son and I were touring a Hawaiian village while my other boy was golfing with his uncle. Man that was an awesome trip!

I feel warmer already! The weather can take the sun out of the Palm Springs of Washington, but it can't take it out of my memory!!

You've totally made me jealous! I think we should take a Girls Trip this month instead of dinner.
I would kill to get into some sunshine. Why don't I live in Mexico????
What fun memories you have! I couldn't agree more with your post!
