Making sure there weren't any cars behind, nor coming towards me, I rolled down the passenger side window down and gave a good hearty toss. I don't really consider it littering when throwing a apple core or a banana peel out the window, especially since I'm not flagrant about it.
I'm careful not to toss onto sidewalks or the side of the road but will save it for the perfect opportunity, such as a grassy ditch where it can decompose properly or provide a meal for some little critter.
With the coast clear, I chucked the peel. Normally it would have sailed to it's final resting place in some ditch bank, but apparently this was not the case. Instead, it went SPLAT onto the glass.
My aim was good had I rolled down the correct window but I mistakenly opened the back seat window in my haste 'not get caught'.
To say the least, the peel made a fine mess on the glass before sliding between the door and passenger seat and as for the little devil sitting on my shoulder, yeah I'm sure he got a good laugh at my expense.

Haha, oops! I don't think there's anything wrong with chucking an apple core or banana peel out the window. As long as it makes it out the window in the first place. ;)
Back fired! I think it's fine to chuck out organic matter... as long as it's not somewhere it can trip someone up :-)
Ha,ha, this is so funny. I chuck apple cores out the window too, for the critters to finish off or for planting apple trees. Makes me wonder how many apple trees grows by the side of the road, he,he......
Once a long time ago, my grandfather was sitting in the front seat of the car and I was sitting in the back seat and he rolled down his window to spit his chewing tobacco... We were going to a wedding..... and it came in my window and splattered on me, ha,ha,ha......
