2014

2014
Where did it go?
Let’s recap the year and see if I know.
January:
Looking at the month, its’ not very grim,
fifteen times I went to the gym.
February:
Let me see,
is it possible we celebrated our 28th anniversary?
March:
The highlight of the year,
our twin grandsons and family moved over here.
April:
With the boys around at their house I did stay,
it’s hard to leave when all I want is to play.
May:
Our youngest engaged, a bridal shower to attend.
My Mother in Law turned 70,
I hope this doesn’t offend.
June:
My boy and his bride said their ‘I do’s’
 then came the reception,
Yummy cake we did chew.
July:
Handcarts to pull, a trek they hiked,
our church youth and leaders were pioneer look alike’s.
August:
Super activity with teenage girls of my church,
we rafted, shopped, laughed till our stomach’s hurt.
September:
Birthday month for me, the husband and also a son,
to say the least, Ken and I are no longer 51.
October:
Two cute scarecrows,
spooky dinner we did eat,
enjoyed the night of passing out treats.
November:
The twins and their parents moved away,
made me cry dare I say.
The husband and I, states we drove through,
to celebrate the boys birthday and see them turn two.
December:
The husband did surprise me with the best gift ever,
a week with the boys, I can’t believe he was so clever!
Added a side trip to my Christmas vacation,
 Saw my sister
 and newlyweds
Utah the destination.
There it is, summed up in a rhyme,
finished the year in the knick of time.
Ready to see what 2015 has in store,
I'm sure it will involve the boys galore!

2014 blew by, for sure. You certainly did some amazing things. The twins are growing up so fast. Glad you get to spend plenty of time with them. There is nothing sweeter than being a grandma/next to being a mom.

Hi Saimi,
What a wonderful introduction. Not only do I get to "meet" the family, share in the festivities but I also get to see those darling twins! Aren't they adorable:)

I remember when my daughter moved to Idaho. I was devastated. Children should be told they aren't "allowed" to move away especially when there are grandchildren involved, lol...I go to visit mine in the Spring. I can't wait!!!

Here's to another fantabulous New Year Saimi filled with lots of memories and good health!!! Thank you so much for sharing and for dropping by my blog...

Oh your grandsons are adorable. What a full year you've had. Take care and I hope you get to see those little ones just as often as possible.

Your grandsons are too cute. My grandson just turned two years old last month. Congratulations on your anniversary, that's awesome. My hubby's name is Ken too and we are celebrating our 25th anniversary later this year.
