I received this call from my husband, "Are you home?"
Me, "Yes."
Husband, "Can you leave right now and meet me at the K Mart parking lot?"
Me, "Are you alright? Is everything OK?"
Husband, "Just come right now."
Wondering what this is all about, hoping he didn't get into some kind of accident, I leave immediately. Arriving at K Mart I see my husband. His truck is in one piece but he's not in it. He's standing next to a suburban holding the cutest little beagle puppy. It all became very clear. It's better not to tell the wife to come see this adorable canine because he knows what the answer would be, "We don't need another dog."
Let me explain, our household consist of three dogs and two cats - the children are all in college.
Hummm...... Yep, we don't need another dog.
But because he knows me so well, it's best if I see this wiggly, brown eyed, puppy breath, cutie in person. His plan worked. The puppy we now call Archie, came home with us.

As we are beginning to see, as we are off to college, the parents are slowly replacing us with cats, dogs and all manner of furry wild life.
I found your blog! And I love Archie. Cutest puppy ever!
Archie is so adorable, just like all the other members of the family! Fits right in!
