I've never really been one step ahead of anyone or ever considered myself ahead of the game by any means, but I do try to keep myself current and looking like I'm not behind the times, especially for my age. I have my hair chemically enhanced to it's 'natural' color, I consult my friend who is young and tastefully fashionable, I like to have fun and will try adventurous activities. To name a few, water skiing, snow skiing, rock climbing, caving, white water rafting and of course, horseback riding.
Where I fail miserably is with my computer skills. I've been blogging for over a year now and ya'd think I'd know my way around the computer better than I do. I'm envious of every blog I see. I'm constantly wondering how this was done, or how that was done but at the same time, I'm just grateful I figured out how to set up a blog as well as have the ability to post with pictures, even if it took me hours, and I'm not exaggerating when I say hours, to set up.
Allow me to share what I recently learned. I found out I've been using the old editor. Old editor, what's old editor anyway, I thought I was using the only thing Blogger had to offer. How was I to know there was anything different. This explains my frustration when uploading pictures and not having a clue how to move them around or delete them or try to add more than one picture in the order I want them placed.
Then comes along my beautiful smart sister who has recently started blogging herself. Recent as in a week ago.
Anyway, as I was reading her post while talking with her on the phone, I started asking questions on how she was uploading her pictures and the format she was using. Questions I've had swimming around in my head ever since I've started following my blogging friends. Let me remind you she has only been at this blogging thing for a week. Get where I'm coming from? Never been one step ahead of anyone. Uh huh, never been ahead of the game. Yeah. She knew more about Blogging in a week than I did in a year. Yep.
Being the kind and loving sister that she is, she didn't make fun of me, she simply walked me through the setting department and showed me where I can switch over to the updated editor. I didn't even know that was an option, updated editor vs old editor. Who'd ever thought?
I guess what I'm trying to say here is, even though I've been an old editor for sometime, and I'm sure that will never change, at least I've been officially updated. Whoo hoo!!
Here's me and my beautiful smart sister!

Funny enough, I really don't like the new editor. I tried it for about a week, and went back.
Oh my sister, you are sooooo funny! Annnnnd, you rival Sam with your story telling! :) I love you!
Thank goodness for family members huh? My daughter helps me all the time. So is your hair long or short now?
I may be a step in front of you in the blogging skills but it is a very small step.
You can put pictures from the internet on you blog, not I!!
Is this picture from your cruise, you seem sunkissed?
I'm with Kristina. I tried the new editor and hated it. I'll stick with old.
I didn't like the new editor at first but now that I've got the hang of it I love it!
Cute picture!
Gosh, I'm wondering as I read your post if I'm using the new or old editor! How do you know which one you are using?
Ok thanks for this information, I just went and changed to the updated editor. But now I read that Kristina doesn't like it. Hmmm, I will have to wait and see.
