Today we wanted to do this:
But with rain in the mountain pass we decided to do this instead:
It was a glorious sunny day...I love the sun.
Although we did come across a bit of this:
And with the sun, it melted the snow into this:
By the end of our ride the horses looked like this
And this
But a little mud never hurt a girl
Actually, I think she kinda liked her first mud treatment.

Lovely! :)
Both activities look like a lot of fun. Beautiful horse even covered in mud.
Looks like a great day mud and all!
I would love to go horseback riding!
Oh ya, I would say that's a "10" day.
A girl always looks pretty with a little dirt on her!
Oh goodness... "a little mud never hurt a girl"... my mare would be snorting at you right about now ;) She is prissy and would have been thoroughly disgusted if I'd asked her to let her feet get dirty, ha ha.
And I laughed at your title... because Itty Bit has been watching a movie called "Mud, Glorious Mud", and this totally applies!
Majorly jealous that you got to ride - so fun!
LOL a bit muddy huh?! I think I will wait til it drys up a bit LOL
Ok, I think I want a horse now. Problem is, I would probably need a step stool or ladder to get on the poor thing!
Great pics...looks like a fantastic but muddy day!
So who has to do the cleanup?
Still though, you're living a life many can only dream of.
I love Horse Back Riding, Especially around the mountains. So can I come visit you after baby is out in May?
What fun! People go to spas and pay money for people to cover them in mud- funny huh?! What a gorgeous day!
Fun way to spend the day.
Wow after all that, the poor horse should at
least get a manicure. Great story in pictures - you ought to write kids books ... they are the only ones I can understand! W.C.C.
Beautiful pics, looks like you all had a great time despite the mud. Hey, sometimes it's fun to get a little bit dirty! ;)
Sounds like a fun day! Beautiful horse! :)
I awarded you a little somethin'. Check it out {here}! :)
Thanks again for following me, and for all your comments! :)

That looks like a good day on the planet!
Horses are such beautiful animals.
I'm not a good skier but that ride looks lovely, so it seems like a great deal to me! Though it was a bit muddy!
Where do you live Saimi??? I can't wait to get horseback riding. Hubby just had hip surgery in Sept. so he is dieing to get back in the saddle. We want to ride together so bad up in the hills.
I hate the mud................I will be really dreading that when things start to thaw out as I will have such a mess on my hands, but hey, I live in the country......country and mud go hand in hand.
the horse is a beauty! glad that you'd a good day :)
Oh, that looks wonderful! Florida has its beaches (where I live) but I'd take that kind of scenery anyday! ;)
It looks like it was so much fun! I'd love to take my kids horseback riding someday!
Looks messy but fun!
how fun. I've only been horse back riding twice. It was so fun and I am so jealous that you went.
Just became a follower :)
Awww!! That looks so fun, despite all the melted snow & mud. So happy for you that horseback riding is a part of your lIfe!
Oh that looks like fun.!!!!
Gorgeous! Sometimes you have to get a little mud on the tires, right? Or I suppose in this case, hooves.
I'd choose riding any day!! Fun, fun!
How wonderful! I haven't been on the back of a horse for over 15 years! Your girl is sooooo pretty. I'm sightly jealous, though not about the hard work that horses are. They require a LOT of care!
My first time here, and I'm already a little jealous of you getting to go horseback riding. How cool that you live close enough to enjoy both the mountains and the other, too!
Oh everybody loves stomping through a good mud puddle, I'm sure horses are no exception!
