Sporting a Mohawk

Mohawks seem to be quite trendy these days, especially in little boys.
I've seen this style a lot and love it! Melts your heart doesn't it.
Then they grow up and are still melting hearts.
Some get crazy and go all out.
Yikes
Um......
Even girls try their hand...er hair with the trendy style
Kinda cute
Not so much.
Then theres my girl.
She wanted a new look and decided to get in on the fashion side of things.
What do you think,
Should I let her dye it red?

Oh yes, add some color. I am thinking purple would be a nice touch if the red doesn't work out.

Haha, cute! I'd totally go for red...then she'd be a horse of a different color! (We just watched The Wizard of Oz a couple days ago.)

Definitely dye it red. Did you cut it like that or did you rub it off so much you cut it??
Sometimes our horses will rub their beautiful manes short and makes me so mad.

No Wendy I didn't cut it nor did she rub it off it's just an over grown bridle path. It's her winter look - come Spring she'll be looking ship shape again!

Most diffidently let her dye it red, it will be totally awesome!

If you are hesitant to do the permanent thing, you could try colored chalk. Might look pretty cool! ;)

I'm thinking just a purple tint would be good!

I saw a green Mohawk the other day that looked quite...um...trendy. That might work on that beauty!

ah. cute. some of my girlfriends growing up shaved their horses' and ponies entire manes and as the hair grew out they would look so playful.

So funny! My grandsons like the mohawks or "faux"hawks as they call them. Honestly, I just don't get the appeal. Although I do have a cute pic of Taco on my blog today and he is sporting just exactly that hairstyle.
