Ten days of total bliss, I was in baby heaven.
"You kids have fun, I got this." Out the door I would send my son and his wife.
With the boys all to myself, we had Grandma time. I sang them my preschool songs,
played outside, fed them, bathed them, read books and did lots of giggling.
The only reason I came home was to prepare for Girls Camp.
I was the camp director for 8 girls between the ages of 12 t0 17.
The theme:
Once Upon a Time in Camp-A-Lot.
There were Sleeping Beauties, Ladies in waiting, Robyn Hood & Merry Woman
The Dragons, Fairy tale misfits from far, far away, Princess Brides, Maidens of the Round Table, Divine Damsels, Princess Warriors and as for my girls, they chose to be The Little Mermaids.
We ate
played outside,
sang,
And did lots & lots of giggling.
To say the least, I haven't had any sleep since school let out but
considering the fun I've had, it's been a fair trade.

The grandbabies are too precious :-) Such gorgeous photos - did you take them as they are amazing!
Sounds like a fun summer so far....
You are amazing. Taking on twins then taking on 8 young women at camp, yep amazing sums it up.
Those two little boys are so stinking precious I don't know how you can stand living so far away.
Oh, those babies are precious! Girls' camp sounds like it was lots of fun, and I'm sure you had a lot to do with it!
You are a super grandma. You are showing us how it's done and you're good at. I would even say a pro.
The girls must love camp with you at the helm. I love the theme and all the titles. Great stuff. Summer is really going fast in spite of the heat.
Take some time relax too.
Hugs,
JB
When are you taking a nap, I am tired for you. I am so glad you have had a fun summer.
I go to camp in two weeks. EEK! Those photos of your sweet little ones are precious and perfect!
Totally worth no sleep!:)
Oh my goodness! Those boys are simply the most adorable little things ever! You HAVE had a busy Summer so far! Keep on havin' fun!
I still have not gotten over my kid moving away, getting a job, and living 2000 miles away. I don't know what it will be like if I ever have grandkids. You make it sound like loads of fun though so I will look forward to it. W.C.C.
Oh my gosh....those babies are adorable! I can see why you were out the door so fast. And yay for girls camp!
