My biggest fan

When I married her son and became a wife,
I knew right away she was a friend for life.

I learned to cook from her recipe's shared, 

My meals no longer yield,  'consumer beware'.

She attended the birth of each grandchild born, 

Didn't judge me at all, when out of my mouth I swore.

She loves my boys as if her own,

 From babies to toddlers and now full grown. 

I watched as she tended her mother so old, 

Never left her side, her hand she did hold.

Kindness,  charity, faithful and true, 

She's an amazing example, through and through.

I can't say enough of this beautiful lady,

 I can only hope to become half the person as she.
