turned into a double date with our husbands, making it an even better day for riding horses.
Both our husbands, whom have never met until today, happen to have riding bikes in common.
Where we were riding was in an area designated for hikers, bikers and horse riders.
This was familiar territory for the guys as they have rode their bikes on these trails multiple times and as for Brooke's husband even less on horseback.
He'd rather be on his bike but his love for his wife had him riding her horse Josie.
Josie had a few tricks up her saddle. As we were riding, Brooke noticed Josie's saddle pad slipping off her back.
When we stopped to asses the situation we also noticed the cinch, or girth, had come loose. Which explains why the saddle pad was slipping.
Luckily that was the only thing that had slipped. Had Josie made any sudden movements Brooke's husband would have found himself on the ground.
While Brooke was fixing the saddle Josie shook her head leaving her bridle dangling over her ears.
This horse was completely undressing herself right before our very eyes.
After getting Josie all fixed up we continue on. Each trail is marked with a name. One of the ones we came across is called, 'Orange Harvester.' Can't imagine why.

Love your picture. You all look like you are truly enjoying the ride. Such pretty horses. Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie
What a great way to spend a delightful afternoon. Your horse is so beautiful, and you too of course, lol... I'm glad that Josie' s rider didn't fall off. That could have ruined a perfect afternoon.
It's turning cold here and we even had snow and rain on Friday. A very slushy day.
Enjoy your week.
Hugs, Julia
