The Missionary

The pictures are in! He actually sent them to my email awhile ago, but I just figured out how to transfer them to my blog. So here he is, the missionary in Oaxaca Mexico. As you can see he is teaching the gospel,
and getting good results. His companion is on the far left, an unusually tall Oaxacan.

We were told that Oaxaca is one of the poorest countries in Mexico, but rich in culture. Their food is known to be very authentic and amazing. People that have tasted their cuisine just rave about how good it is. To say the least, the missionary was very excited.

He's fitting in nicely. Not quite sure how these things became a delicatessen. Maybe it's their way of controlling the bug population. Although, he said they are actually good. Anyone for a taste?

Thought I'd never see the day, nor even imagined he would be washing clothes by hand, but I love it! When in Mexico, do as the Mexicans do!

He has really come to love the people he serves and has seen through humble means, it doesn't matter what you don't have, they are happy people with close family relationships.

I didn't need to see this picture, nothing like scaring the bejesus out of his mother! All in all, he is doing great and learning a ton!

Keep up the good work!!
