I'd like to say my day was spent laying around eating bon bons, reading a good book and doing just about nothing but that's not how it went. You see my Miniature Schnauzer Oskar told me if I didn't give him a hair cut
In which he was in desperate need of
He was going to be one of these for Halloween:
He had a point, so I bathed and groomed him.
He felt much better about himself. I figured, what the heck I just as well do the rest of the pack, so Jimmy was next. He's not as high maintenance as Oskar and only required a bath and a blow dry.
Since we were on the topic of Halloween costumes, Jimmy decided to go as the President.
Moving on to Archie, he too received a bath, minus the blow dry. Ever try holding a slippery seal with one hand and a dryer in the other? Archie was next to impossible to dry so he got the towel method.
By the time I was finished with all three mongrels, I knew what I was going to be for Halloween:
A wet dog!

They are such characters!
You will make an adorable wet doggie!
HA.. cute! My Sadey paid a visit to the doggie beauty parlor today. I would love to trim her myself, but I'm not brave enough. Your fur babies are so cute.
Oh that last picture had me giggling!
Great post, I needed the laugh. Your dogs are precious.
Wow! Sounds like a fun day! There some things worth paying someone else to do, mowing the lawn and bathing the dogs are two of them. Thank God for the groomers! :)
OOOHH. wet dogs smell bad, I don't know you will be successful in getting candy with that costume. Love how cute he looks after the grooming.
