Grandma time

With the house pending we don't have to worry about a stream of people coming through as well as keeping it show ready. We finally could relax and play the waiting game.

Which I am perfectly willing to do. No hurry, no rush. Things are clicking along with the farm house and most all the decisions are made so with a little break in the schedule I took that window of opportunity and made a day trip to visit Miss Elsie.

She's already 4 months old and entered in the interactive stage.

She coo's, blows bubbles, smiles, grabs things and loves to giggle.
Driving the three hours it takes to get there gave me plenty of conversation time with my sister. She and her husband were also in the car heading home to California. Mentioning to them I was in route to Vancouver to see Elsie and family she perked up.
They had to go through Vancouver as well and decided to stopped in for a short visit.

Tacie and her husband Bruce have never met Elsie nor had they seen George and Megans place, she enjoyed taking a tour, playing with Elsie and visiting with their nephew and niece.
Selfishly is was great having a bit more time with my sister as well.
After they left, I hung out for another couple of hours making sure to fill my Grandma cup before it was time to head back.

I just love that sweet baby girl.

Your grandbaby girl is adorable. Well worth the trip, I'd say.
