Lil' Pooper

"Hey guys, you want to eat?" Of course they do, but the question just adds to the excitement. So today at feeding time, I go down to release the hounds from the family room, where they stay during the day, and ask them the exciting question about eating. The barking frenzy started and they raced up the stairs. Archie ran straight to the garage door as Jimmy hopped about, but Oskar sat on the front door mat and didn't move. Usually he runs directly to his bowl and barks uncontrollably. I kept calling him over but he just sat there, this is so out of character for him. I tried again, thinking he wanted to go outside. "Oskar, come on, lets eat, why are you just sitting there?" Then he starts shaking, OK this is weird, I bent down and started petting his shivering little body, wondering what the heck is wrong with my baby. He kept staring at me with this pathetic look. Then, just as I was going to pick him up, he walked slowly over to his bowl. He took a few steps then sat down again, he was really freaking out. I made him get up again, but he kept wanting to drag his bottom. Then I noticed he had a piece of poop dangling from his be-hind. Oh my gosh Mr. drama king, this is why he was acting so weird, but to shake and carry on is a little much. He's like, "Mom I can't walk, I don't know what to do...Help!" I removed the dangling number two, and you'd think I'd saved the day, he, gobbled down his dinner with much enthusiasm and danced around. Ya know, my kids are grown adults and I'm still wiping butts, go figure.
