It's in the gene pool
Oh I like swimming, well not really. I like floating around on a floaty in the pool, and folks, where there's a pool, there's my sister. You see, my sister and I should have been twins. I actually believe it was in the plan for us to be born as twins but my sister is a planner and go getter and truthfully, she didn't want to wait. Yeah, she entered this world two years before our actual scheduled date. I know why she did this, she wanted everything to be perfect for my arrival, and it was. We were both born in Japan where our father was stationed and my big sister was there waiting for me, paving the road.
Everything about us is the same and if it's not, then we make up where the other falls short, thus causing us to be perfect companions. When it comes to food, our taste buds are identical. When it comes to adventure and travel we jell as if we are one. She's the mover and shaker, I'm more laid back. The parents have a hard time deciphering our voices, we sound that much alike.
She and I can spend hours talking on the phone. She's with me when I'm doing just about anything. I'll put the phone on speaker and talk away. Some of our best conversations are while I'm driving down the road.
One time I was driving to a girls night out dinner while talking with my sister, I believe our conversation started before I left the house. Anyway, I was in the zone and we were deep in conversation. Then, out of the blue I remembered I needed to call someone after dinner and I started to panic because I thought I had left my phone at home.
I kept telling my sister how bummed I was because I needed to make that call. She was very sympathetic and asked me if I could borrow one of the girls phone once I got to the restaurant. We must have spent the last five minutes talking about how I could make my important call without my cell phone.
Then it finally dawned on me that the very phone I was missing was attached to my ear while I talked to my sister about not having my phone. We both got a good laugh, and yes I am blonde but my sister is not. Which goes to show you that we are really twins at heart because had she waited for me, she would be sporting the same blonde hair.
Ok one more story. When my sister signed up for facebook she noticed how everyone was ending their comments with LOL. She thought it was odd but followed suit thinking it must be a facebook thing. Finally she asked me, no doubt during one of our long phone conversations, why everyone ends their comments with the Lots Of Love abbreviation LOL.
Imagine the LOL we got out of that!

LOL!!!!
Sisters are the best!! I love that story about the phone, that is stinkin hilarious and totally something I would do too!!! I'll be talking on my phone and say, "oh crap, where the heck is my phone?"
Or I'll have it in my hand but not be using it.
Or it'll be sitting right in front of me.
Hooray for blonds!!!
And for sisters. Mine are also some of my bestest friends.
cracking up at the blonde phone moment...
of course, as a brunette, I never have those moments...never...
now where did I put my computer????
I have one sister, but we aren't really all that close. We get along fine, but we aren't close, you know. I am now officiallly jealous!
I love that! Sisters are so important. I have four and I love each of them--they are all so completely different. Unfortunately I live far away from every single one of them so I rarely get to see them but in my mind I imagine the fun we would all have if we could all be together for a girls vacation or something.
LOVE this post! And as a Sister, and the mother of Sisters, I understand the blessings and importance that comes with that title. Your post made me realize it, too, and I thank you for that!!! And the LOL ... SO funny, I'm LOL!!!!!
Hilarious! I don't have a sister and am jealous of those that have a relationship like you two.
Love it. LOL
Sisters are great. Yours sounds like a keeper.
That is so sweet! Makes me wish i grew up with a sister. What a sweet tribute to her.
Sista, okay, you got me laughing, even if it is at ourselves! :) I love you, my little twinner! LOL, the heart one!
That's awesome! My only sister is 15, and we have a great relationship. I hope it stays that way. :)
How lucky are you?! I would LURV to have a sister. It just was not in the cards for me as I am an only child. LOL.. Lots of Love.. that is too cute!
I too have been known to look for my phone, while on my phone. Glad I am not the only one. I am slightly envious that you have a sister you are so close too. I am the only girl in my family. BUT I have been blessed with 5 sister-in-laws who I am very close to and some great friends.
I am thoroughly jealous of your relationship--and thouroughly laughing at your conversations! PS. You gals are super HOT.
Oh my gracios, that story with the cell phone was hilarious!!! How great that you two are so close!
LOL! *snicker*
