Three weddings and a.......couple more to go

Holy moly this has been a busy wedding season. Luckily the last wedding I had to plan was two years ago and the three I just attended, were the friends of our family.

When our youngest son was married two years ago, not only did  his friends embraced him
Our son in the light grey suit second from the left.
but they came from far and wide to be part of the celebration. His closest friend was his best man.

Now the tables have turned and my son was the best
man for his friend who was recently married in Utah.
His bride was so lovely
From right to left, me, my son, his best friend
and basically my son's second mom growing up.
What I love about weddings is how they bring everyone
together.
The last time I saw his other childhood
buddy was at my son's wedding and here we
are, two years later attending their friends wedding.
Back in the day these boys took trumpet lessons together.
After enjoying the festivities of the above wedding,
less than a month later in Washington we attended
the wedding of our middle son's childhood friend.
This celebration was held outside overlooking a vineyard.
Inside the reception room we toasted
 the bride and groom,
ate and danced.
Our middle son and his girlfriend at
his friends wedding.
A month later in Oregon, on the 2nd anniversary of our youngest son's marriage, we attended yet another wedding.
This time it was for the sister of our youngest sons
best friend.
Are you confused yet? I am.
My son's friend was the only boy growing up in a house full
of sisters.
surrounded by his wife, sisters and grandmother at his sisters wedding.
Perhaps that's why my son basically spent all his time at their house and why his friend liked coming over to ours where we had the boys.
Her wedding was amazing - it was like hanging out with
family all over again.
Next up,
back to back weddings, one in July and one
in August.

I feel for our other friends, it's their daughters who will
be the upcoming brides.

Wow! That is a whole lot of wedding celebrations! :-)

And I just thought, since many know each other, do you have to have a different dress, for each??? Yikes!!!!!! :-)))))

Keep cool hugs,
Tessa

Hi Saimi, thanks for your recent visit to my blog. We are both February, 1986, brides, huh? Isn't it hard to believe we have been married for 3 decades?

Oh, love your profile photo. We love beagles!! Currently have 2 of them, one is 7, the other 5 months. We had a 15-year old, who died almost 3 years ago. Such lovable dogs.

I adore weddings. This time last year, I was knee-deep in the duties of the mother of the bride. My daughter got married in October. A good friend of hers is getting married in September, and my husband and I will be attending that wedding. I am thinking I will wear my mother of the bride dress to the friend's wedding.

Blessings to you,
Patti @ Embracing Home

Whew! Busy, busy, busy! Which Utah temple did you visit for the wedding? I'll cry if you say Ogden, cuz it's only 20 minutes away and we could have met each other!
