The husband and I always pick opposite teams to root for so this year he went with the New England Patriots as he was excited to see if they could hold their title of winning the Superbowl 6 years in a row.
I went with the L.A. Rams. Their quarterback is from our town but ended up on the injured list leaving the big game to the second string quarterback Jared Goff.
With that being said, the husband and I stayed with tradition and bought the team blanket of who is playing in the Superbowl. We already had the Patriots we just needed to add the Rams to our collection.
Then we settle in,
And start the party.
A Superbowl wouldn't be super without the food as that's half the fun.
So even though it was just the two of us, I can't help myself preparing for an army.
We did our best and so did the teams but the LA Rams fell short and the New England Patriots proved themselves once again.
The husband and I fell short and proved we can't consume that much food but there is always next year and hopefully the Seattle Seahawks will be the team I'll be rooting for.

I don't watch the Superbowl but everyone else seems to be watching it.
This is too funny about the amount of party food. and that you are on opposite side... You won't have to prepare food for a few days. I think you both won with that food. It looks so yummy.

That is cute how you guys choose opposite teams. We do not have company over for the game because we do not have the Super size TV screen. We are simple. And we do not feel like going to anyone elses house. WOW at all that food you made. I will usually make a small table of pick ups just for us too, but didn't this year. Love those blankets. Yall are good sports.

Wow that's a lot of food for just the two of you! I bet you'll be muchin' on it for a while. :) It was kinda sad we couldn't root for the Seahawks this year, hopefully next year!
