Elsie Shea

One week later and a whole lot of social distancing the husband and I were finally able to meet our granddaughter.

With this crazy Corona virus going around I wasn't sure when we were going to see her but with the social distancing order, I kept myself in isolation and away from any potential carriers so I can hold her with a clear conscience.

She is truly an angel and a gift, a bright beacon in this crazy world. With her in my arms I felt emotional and peace, a feeling I didn't want to let go of.

So as hard as it was to share I knew the husband needed a turn to hold his baby granddaughter and experience the same slice of heaven.

She loves hearing her dad play the piano. Notice her head is tilted to the right, our son was playing a gentle tune and Elsie turned her head towards the music and fell asleep.

Our visit wasn't near long enough and since her parents weren't willing to let us take her home, we'll do another round of self isolation so we can come back and see this sweet little girl.
Although it appears I have more than the husband to share her with. The line of Elsie's admirers is getting longer.

Hi Saimi~

Oh my goodness...what a very sweet little granddaughter, I almost want to whisper this comment, she's absolutely precious! Like you, I would want to take her home with me...she is so darling. Isn't it funny how these little babies just melt a grandpas heart?! That sweet little angel being cradled by that beautiful pup just made my heart melt...no words!

When I see these sweet little souls, it gives me hope for the future and reminds me how very good God is. Thank you so much for sharing this little piece of heaven.

Hugs and Love,
Barb
