As most of my post go, it's not uncommon for me to pick on the husband. I can't help it, it's my sarcastic nature and for those reasons alone, I can't fathom why he continues to endure my sassy ways. All I can say is, he's an AMAZING man who continues to spoil me. This last weekend was my birthday, not the whole weekend just Saturday, but he made a weekend out of it and took me camping.
I know, I know I said the C word. This to me means tents, sleeping bags and camp stoves, all of which I don't do. Although I must add, this great outdoor adventure didn't include any of the above but instead my in laws motor home, which indeed I do, do.

My home away from home |
It also included our horses, doggies and scooters. Again, all of which I do. We 'camped' at horse park where a two day Mountain trail clinic was held. This horse park came complete with covered stalls, fresh shavings, two arena's, a bathing facility for the horses, trails for riding and RV hookups. Which means I was able to shower in the comforts of the motor home.

Bunks for the horses |
The husband signed us up to participate in the clinic where our horses would learn to maneuver around obstacles such as logs, rocks and boulders, trenches, and various other fears a horse might encounter while trail riding.

I'm telling ya the guy knows how to please his girl. After our Saturday ride we put the horses away and took the scooters into town where he treated me to a nice birthday dinner. As we were enjoying our meal it started to rain. By the time we were done eating, it was pouring. Yeah to say the least, we were soaked by the time we got back to the motor home. Between helmet hair and the rain I looked like a wet dog. At least I can say I didn't smell like one, thanks to the hot shower!
It was truly an AMAZING weekend and I truly have an AMAZING husband!

It sounds like you have quite the winner there! What a great birthday!
That sounds like an amazing birthday gift! I'm so jealous that your husband rides! Mine refuses to get on my horse after the first time I squeezed him into a 14" saddle. Mean, huh?
Love the pictures! Glad you had a great time!
What a fun weekend and birthday present! Glad you had a fabulous time!
Happy Birthday to you!
Wow! Sounds like you had a BLAST! Happy Be-lated Birthday!
You do have a great husband, that is my kind of camping. I went to happy birthday you on facebook to then remember you left us :0) Well, happy birthday a few days late !
Sounds like a perfect weekend, except for the rainy part. :)
A hubby as wonderful as that is a true blessing from God. :)
Sounds like a WONDERFUL weekend. Glad you enjoyed it.
P.S. Never give up the sassy.. it keeps us young. ;O)
he he he - in Paragraph one you said "DO DO"! Sounded like a fun hatch day. I had a horse once come up on a fence line and purposely tried to drag my leg along the barbed wire. It is good to get them used to those common issues if you are going to fence or trail work. Nice Post! W.C.C.
It sounds like you had a fabulous weekend.
Happy late Birthday.
Sounds like your hubs is a keeper!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
What a birthday! Sounds like the perfect birthday weekend with the ones you love; hubby, horses, dogs. In fact, why stop with the weekend?! I like to celebrate the birthday 'week'. It's not over yet! When the birthday only comes once a year, you gotta milk it for as long as you can! :)
