Archie has been keeping himself pretty busy in our yard lately. I'm not exactly sure what has possessed him to rearrange our grass so maybe you can help me understand. Could it be,
A) Designing a mini golf course with plenty of sand traps?
After seeing Caddy Shack he might want to try his paw at catching a gopher.
B) Constructing a water feature?
Who knew he was such an expert in the field of irrigation.
C) Aerating the lawn with super sized holes?
The bigger the hole, the less there needs to be....Brilliant.
Or,
D) Starting the ground work for a pool.
Perhaps he wants one of our own so I don't have to keep using the neighbors. Isn't he thoughtful.
If you can tell me what goes on in this Beagles head you can win your very own..... Custom landscaping job by Archibald himself!

He probably makes some good commission!
We had a beagle once and never could figure him out. They have their own drum they listen to the beat to. Looks like Archie was just digging to his own beat.
Ah... you can't help but love him though.. so cute.
He is so darn cute! Just reminds me of my neighbor Tracey's dog. You read her blog also.
Yep, beagles are cute. But they can be quite... um... unruly.
We had one once. His name was Ozzy. My brother named him. After Ozzy Osborne. Yeah. The name suited this dog well.
He was pretty much incomprehensible and frightening. Just like his namesake.
well, I can tell you this, he has some other dogs on the job over at my house. I recognize the work!
Adorable! I'm pretty sure he's looking for truffles so you can either enjoy them with pasta and risotto, or you can sell them and make a fortune.
As cute as he is, please do not send him over to assist with my landscaping.
I'd never, in my whole dog-owning life, had a digger. We got a German shepherd puppy last year and oh boy, she can turn some dirt! Lucky for us, she's pretty pro, all of her holes were spaced evenly (with the exception of one) around the back porch. We took advantage of the situation and planted 6 lovley rose bushes, only 2 of which survived our "darling" Erika (one would think those thorns would have hurt her pretty little mouth...).
We've talked about building her a sandbox for next summer...

He really is the cutest thing ever - holes and all!
Aw, love him! Hey, we can partner him up with my wolfdog Loki as he, too, is into "landscaping!"
