Bailey

Bailey is the newest addition to our empty nest. Is it even fair to say we have a empty nest? The boys are gone, two attending college and one serving a mission, which means the children are out of the house leaving the husband and I home alone. So in every sense of the word, we fall into the category of being "Empty Nester's" But what about the four dogs, two cats, two guppies, and now two horses? Usually when people are in this stage of life, they get out of commitments that tie them down so they have the freedom to do other things, such as travel, weekend get aways, road trips etc....Yes our children are gone, but we have Old MacDonald's Farm living with us, so I'm not sure we can rightfully say we are empty Nester's.

On the other hand, Horse riding has always been my passion and since the husband is a part of that, life couldn't be better. Now when we travel, we attach the horse trailer to the truck and away we go. Travel yes, weekend get aways yes, road trips yes again. There's plenty of room for the dogs, and as for the cats....Well, they can stay home, and if they get hungry....there's always the guppies.

As I see it, we have everything going for us, the boys may be gone but our life is still full and exciting with something always going on.
