Lil' Boo came to us as a baby kitten, cold, hungry and really freaked out by dogs. Even though he was small, he would hiss and arch his back when he saw our dogs, but later realized our canine friends meant him no harm and he started bonding with them. Then when Archie came into our family, Boo really had a good friend. This is where I started wondering if the cat knew he was a feline. Boo would do everything the dogs would do. He slept with them, went on walks with us, chased our other cat and tease her unmercifully, he even would play and rough house with the dogs. He acted more like a dog than his own species. But today, I see that Mr. Boo's instincts kicked in:
He caught himself a bird, and by the looks of his fur it wasn't easy. So I guess I need not worry about our cat-dog, he has proven that he knows exactly what he is.....

Poor kitty! I bet the bird attacked and Lil Boo was just defending himself.
